Council Room

The Council Room, with its high vaulted ceiling, intricate stained glass and beautiful views across the garden, is a stunning room for a special event. Primarily used for meetings of Council, (College’s Governing body) this space is most appropriate for meetings, conferences, presentations or corporate away days.

College's second Principal, Dorothea Beale, believed in the influence of beautiful surroundings in the development and enrichment of the senses. This room, built in the 1880s, is testament to this vision.

Today, the room features works by William Morris and Edward Burne-Jones and is primarily used for meetings, talks and musical recitals.
