A beautiful purpose-built 1860s Music Department on 4 floors, comprising 37 rooms, each with an upright or grand piano: Steinway, Welmar, Zimmermann, Yamaha, Kawai, Kemble etc.
All Thinking Pianist participants will be allocated one of these rooms for their personal practice during the duration of the course.
There are six junior and five senior boarding houses, each with a grand piano in the drawing room and between 3 and 7 upright pianos which are used daily for students’ practice.
